Doesn't it cost a small country’s annual gross income to hire an agency?

We're a little different from what you might call a conventional agency. We not only charge less because we don’t have huge overheads; we also guarantee our work. Our 7.5% agency service fee is re-invested back into your business for every month you don’t reach our agreed objectives. This is a somewhat unconventional and a unique offer that sets us apart from a lot of agencies who just want your money, whether they meet objectives or not.

Why hire an agency when I can come up with ideas myself?

A lot of people have a lot of good ideas. So why use an agency? A lot of people can also do their own accounts and maybe, even repair their own car. And in some cases, when the business is too small, it may well be a pure financial decision as to who does the work. But at some point it pays to have an accountant look after your books, a mechanic to look after your car… and an advertising agency to look after your advertising.

Your time becomes too valuable. Professionals like accountants and mechanics focus all their time on their own area of expertise day in and day out. This helps them to suggest alternatives you may not have thought of, and create solutions that will end up saving you time and money.

In much the same way an advertising agency can take a lot of pressure off you and release you to do what you’re good at - running your business. We become responsible for the day to day organising and running around that you used to do, even negotiating rates with printers and media, and of course developing effective and creative ideas using proven formulas that work.

How can I measure my advertisements level of success?

There are many ways to measure success. But before you can measure success you need to establish what it is you’re trying to measure. Is it increased phone enquires? Added door traffic? More sales? Increased $ purchase per customer? Increased number of purchases per customer? Once we know what we’re trying to measure we can help lay some foundations that will monitor these results on a regular basis.

In fact these measurements are imperative building blocks in developing better campaigns.

How much should I allocate on advertising to achieve a breakthrough?

Each business is very different, however if you want to work out a figure using a 'rule of thumb', you could consider the following formula.

If your business is a high turnover, low profit per item business like Coles, you should be spending around 1-2% of your ‘next years’ anticipated annual turnover. If your business is a low turnover, high profit per item business, you should be spending closer to 10% of your ‘next years’ anticipated annual turnover.

Also, if you need to make a higher than normal impact because of say, a new product launch, you should consider increasing your budget for the period of the launch to maximise it’s effect.

As a general rule we operate from 8:30am 5:30pm Monday to Friday West Australian Time (+8GMT). However, as our client you will always have access to a top management person - any time of the day or night, 7 days a week. We make ourselves available after hours or through our mobile phone system. If there is ever an urgent need for anything, day or night, we'll find a way to get it done.
